Arrival and logging: Each item is logged. Existing damage, stains and fabric weaknesses are noted before processing begins — so nothing is attributed to the cleaning process that was already present when the garment arrived.
Sorting: Garments are sorted by fabric type, colour and wash temperature. This prevents colour bleeding, fabric damage from incorrect temperatures, and mixing of items with different care requirements.
Pre-treatment: Visible stains are treated individually before the wash cycle. A grease stain, a sweat ring on a collar, a tea stain on a shirt — each requires a different pre-treatment agent. This step is what determines whether a garment comes back clean or comes back with the same marks it went in with.
Washing: Machine washed at the correct temperature with detergent selected for the fabric. Cotton at 40–60°C. Synthetic at 30–40°C. Delicates on a gentle cold cycle.
Pressing: Dried and then steam pressed individually by hand. Every shirt, every kurta, every pair of trousers — not run through an automated system.
