We all like to buy new garments and wear them on special occasions. But than what? We drop it to our local laundry and hope for them to do the best to clean them up.
Sadly at times, we get back our new special garment from our local laundry with some problems like color bleed. What we have got in the habit of is blaming the laundry for this. But it’s not always the case. It’s our responsiblity as well. When we buy our garments, we should take that extra minute to ask the designer on how to clean the garments. The garments are made out of various materials which the designers knows about. So during purchase we ask the designer how to maintain the garment, we will be able to save mishaps from happening with our special garments. Also you can check the garment label to understand the process it has to be washed with.
And if ever we forget, we should than do the smartest thing, just call The Swiss Laundry and ask them to take care of it.
